Integration Name:

Circala

Integration Type:

Advisor Tools

Circala is a workflow automation platform for wealth managers and financial planners. Our product allows organizations to define custom workflows utilizing automation to drive efficiency and quality of back office and client service operations. Circala saves firms time and money and allows advisors to spend more time focusing on revenue generating activities.

Circala’s integration with Redtail allows Circala to pull client information, driving workflows in its platform. Workflows in Circala are automatically triggered by events in the Redtail platform, and when actions occur in Circala, they post back to Redtail, ensuring Redtail remains the source of truth for compliance and record keeping.

Setting up the Integration:

The integration must be set up by an administrator. As an administrator, you will have access to the Circala Admin app. To enable the integration, open the app and authenticate with Redtail by entering your Redtail username and password. Once authentication is successful, the integration with Redtail is automatically activated.

Integration Functionality:

After authentication, Circala will pull active client information from Redtail, including the following fields:

• Name
• Nickname
• Email
• Phone
• Address

When a new client is created or an existing client is updated in Redtail, Circala receives a webhook that updates this information in the system.

When tasks are completed in a Circala workflow, they are posted back to Redtail as completed activities with notes, including details of the task and who completed it.

Workflow Design: Workflows are designed collaboratively between the firm and the Circala customer success team to fit specific business needs. These workflows can be triggered by events in Redtail, such as the creation or update of a customer profile. They can include manual tasks, automated tasks, decision points, pause functions, and document generation, all aimed at streamlining and automating business processes.

Task Completion in Circala: When a task is completed in Circala, the details are posted back to Redtail as a completed activity for compliance and record-keeping purposes.

Redtail Completed Activity: Tasks completed in Circala appear in Redtail's activity section and the notes section of the relevant contact for easy tracking and review.
