Why?

• Create new client folders using data from Redtail CRM contact records.

• Use the Quick Start to use data from Redtail CRM and open an account creation questionnaire to find the proper forms from within Docupace.

What?

Docupace is a document storage solution that integrates with Redtail CRM. The system integrates with the CRM by manually pushing contact record data into Docupace to create new client folders. It also has the option of incorporating a questionnaire to better find the specific Docupace forms for the client when opening a new account in Docupace.

How?

Setting Up the Docupace Integration

You'll first need to enable the Docupace integration within your database. Go to your name profile dropdown at the top of Redtail CRM and select "Manage Your Integrations." From the Manage Integrations page, find or filter the "Docupace" integration. If the toggle has not been set to "ON," enable it. Then, click Settings under the cog menu to open the "Update Integration Settings" modal. Enter your Domain. Use your Docupace URL, which you copy/paste from your Docupace login screen. NOTE: Do NOT include the "ui/app" at the end of the URL string. The end of the domain should be just your site name. Copy the Token (you will be pasting this into Docupace) and click Save. Log into Docupace to complete the configuration on their end, per instructions they can provide you, ddependinguonthe version of Docupace you use.

Using the Docupace Integration

From any page in Redtail CRM, access your Docupace options by selecting the Integrations icon in the upper right corner to open the Integrations menu. From the menu, find and click the "Docupace" integration. If you are within a Contact Record in Redtail when selecting Docupace, you'll see three options available in the Docupace modal: Single Sign On - Takes you to the Docupace Dashboard on a new tab in your browser. NOTE: If you are not within a contact record, this will be the only option available. Send To Client Folder Send to Quick Start

Send to Client Folder

• When you choose this option, the data from the contact record will initially CREATE a client in Docupace.

• Subsequently, the Client folder, including a General Subfolder, will be accounted for in Docupace.

• When you make any updates/changes to your contact record in Redtail CRM, follow the same steps above to send the NEW details for the client to update Docupace. This is a manual process and does not update automatically.

Send to Quick Start

• If you prefer to open a new account in Docupace, choose the “Send to Quick Start” option.

• This will launch a questionnaire for you to fill out, leading you to the right forms for an account opening process.

• The first screen will prompt you to choose a Rep Code for the client you are adding.
NOTE: It is a requirement in Docupace to link a rep to a client.

• Choose the Rep that should be associated with the client you pulled over from Redtail, and proceed with subsequent steps in the Docupace questionnaire.
