The Sync with Redtail tool appears on each eQuipt client profile and moves data in either direction — pull a Redtail profile into eQuipt or push an eQuipt profile back into Redtail — with a side-by-side comparison that puts you in control of which fields update. You run the sync from within eQuipt; Redtail stays your CRM system of record.

How to Sync Your Redtail CRM With eQuipt

The sync has four parts: Activate the SSO with Redtail, find the client in eQuipt, then pull from or push to Redtail. Follow the section that matches your task.

 

Activate SSO with Redtail

Complete this one-time setup before syncing any profiles:

• Open OneHub and select the Osaic App Store link along the top of the page.
  
  
• Find Redtail CRM in the app list and select View Details.
  
  
• On the next page, select How to Subscribe and follow the instructions to subscribe to Redtail.
  
  
• Select Activate, then enter your Redtail login credentials to turn on SSO.

 

 

 

 

 

 

After activation, Redtail appears in your OneHub app sidebar and provides direct SSO access.

 

 

 

To manage SSO later, use this alternate path:

• In OneHub, select the person icon in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
  
  
• In the SSO App Management section, select Manage.
  
  
• Under the Redtail CRM tile, select Activate or Deactivate.

Find the Client in eQuipt

You run the Sync with Redtail tool from the client's eQuipt record, so start by locating the client in eQuipt:

• Open eQuipt through OneHub and go to the Clients and Prospects tab.
  
  
• Enter any part of the client's name, tax ID, or account number in the search field, then select Go. When searching by account number, mark the "Search by Account Number" checkbox first.
  
  
• Narrow results by Rep Code, Client Type (Person or Entity), or client Status.
  
  
• Select the client's name or pencil icon to open the profile.

 

 

 

 

The Status filter reflects where the client sits in the eQuipt profile lifecycle:

Status	What It Means
Incomplete	The client's profile is not complete.
Pending	The client's profile is complete, but no account has opened yet.
Active	The client has one or more open accounts.
Closed	The client has no active accounts and a closed profile. Reopen a closed profile to open a new account for the client.

From the open client profile, select Sync with Redtail, then choose whether you are pulling information from Redtail or pushing information to Redtail.

Pull a Profile From Redtail

Pulling from Redtail brings your CRM data into eQuipt. If the client has no eQuipt profile yet, create a shell record first:

• Select Add New Client.
  
  
• Select the client type (Natural Person, Trust, and so on).
  
  
• At a minimum, select your rep code and clearing firm, then enter the client's name and Social Security number.

Once an eQuipt profile exists, sync your Redtail data into it:

• Open the client and select Sync with Redtail.
  
  
• Select Pulling from Redtail. eQuipt displays your Redtail clients with a matching name.
  
  
• Select the desired client.
  
  
• Review the side-by-side comparison of Redtail data versus eQuipt data.
  
  
• Uncheck any fields you do not want to sync, then select Update eQuipt Profile.

Push a Profile to Redtail

Pushing to Redtail sends an eQuipt profile back into your CRM. The eQuipt profile must be complete to push — the client must be in Pending or Active status, not Incomplete. eQuipt does not push a partial profile.

 

 

 

 

The Client is in eQuipt but Not Yet in Redtail

• Select Sync with Redtail.
  
  
• Select Pushing to Redtail.
  
  
• Select Create New Redtail Profile.

 

The Client is in both Redtail and eQuipt

• Select Sync with Redtail, then select Pushing to Redtail.
  
  
• Select the existing Redtail client in the search results. eQuipt finds clients with a matching name automatically.
  
  
• Review the side-by-side comparison of eQuipt data versus Redtail data.
  
  
• Uncheck any fields you do not want to sync, then select Overwrite Redtail Profile.

Considerations for Active Clients

For active clients — those with one or more established accounts — a few sync behaviors differ:

• Changes to address or suitability information generate a letter to the client.
  
  
• For Pershing or NFS accounts, changes are automatically applied. For direct sponsor accounts, update the information with the sponsor company separately.
  
  
• Some fields update only through the home office and may require supporting documentation — for example, changes to the name or tax ID number. These fields do not update when syncing. Updating a client's name in Redtail and syncing to eQuipt does not change the name in eQuipt, because it is not an editable field there.

 

After syncing, a timestamp displays so you know when the last sync ran.
